I am returned!

I certainly have less to write about than I thought, as I discovered when attempting to make daily updates here. New goal, post at least once a week with something of moderate substance. I need to get the creative juices working or they tend to go rancid.

My first thing shall be a review of "Predators".

I got a shitty laptop for almost free

to be specific $10. I am installing ubuntu linux on it.

Insurance money

I got the money for my car, now to shop for a new one.

Just downloaded a training course for the electric guitar

If it works, I will be happy. The first part covered mostly stuff I know already, Like names of the parts of a guitar, how to hold it, how to tune it relative to itself and that sort of stuff, but It also has a basic exercise which I can do.

New Pants

I gots new pants today, no more ratty old pants. New socks too.

It's uncanny how much good sci-fi comes out of the british. Good tv, movies and let's not forget novels and comics. What made them so good?

Being broke blows hard

I gots no money for myself right now, And a brand new bill. For those of you who haven't heard, I officially has the diabetes. I've been proscribed 4 pills a day and have to prick my finger to test the old blood sugar. It sucks for sure, but it's better than not knowing. At least now I know why I've been so lethargic and had all that weight gain in high school. I also now know that I need to be more active, like take the dog for a walk more often (read: Ever). The pills should help take some of the strain off of my various systems, which should make what I do more efficient in terms of both time and effort.

In other news, my car has been declared as a total and I will be getting back a good chunk of money for that. Not that I was particularly thinking otherwise, but still good none the less. New car before the end of the month I think.

My hot water hasn't been working for about a week now, and the house is finally clean enough to call the landlord to get it fixed, but she isn't answering. I'm sure she was simply busy all day, and I hope it's resolved post haste.

Dropped 4 feet off the back of a truck. It is fucked bad, tow truck's insurance company should cover it thankfully.

So I broke my schedule of daily posting.

But I intend on going back to it, I have no excuse not to post something every day again. So I will make a serious effort to get back to that.
